K.A. Recruiting, Inc. is assisting a nationally-ranked 150-bed hospital in hiring a Lead Cardiac Echo Sonographer for the DAY shift on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Lead Sonographer will produce and evaluate ultrasound images to support physician diagnoses, maintain advanced technical skills, and mentor junior staff. The role requires expertise in M-Mode, real-time imaging, color flow mapping, and Doppler, with strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Produces and evaluates ultrasound images for physician diagnosis.
• Maintains specialized technical skills and medical knowledge to render quality patient care.
• Performs complete studies including M MODE, REAL TIME, COLOR FLOW MAPPING and DOPPLER.
• Provides training, guidance, mentoring, and direction to lesser experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Produces and evaluates ultrasound images and related data used by physicians.
• Maintains skills and knowledge to render quality patient care including contrast media as applicable.
• Performs complete studies including M MODE, REAL TIME, COLOR FLOW MAPPING and DOPPLER.
• Provides training, guidance, mentoring, and direction to less experienced team members.
• Conducts annual competency assessments and maintains documentation per policy.
• Acts as subject matter expert and liaison between vendors, end-users, IT support, and others.
