The Learning Experience in Manhattan, with Upper West Side and Columbus Circle locations, is seeking an experienced Lead Early Childhood Teacher to guide 2-year-olds through language development, independence, and early social interactions in a nurturing classroom.

We offer a collaborative teaching environment, full-time Monday–Friday schedules, paid training, and opportunities for continued career growth. Pay ranges from $21–$24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Formación

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, OR enrollment in an approved study plan toward an associate degree.
• Previous professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood classroom experience required.
• Experience teaching children ages 2-3 strongly preferred.
• Previous Lead Teacher experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must meet applicable NYC Article 47 Group Teacher qualifications for the assigned classroom.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily classroom activities and routines for children ages 2-2.5
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Create engaging sensory, art, music, movement, language, and hands-on learning experiences
• Encourage independence, communication, and positive social interactions
• Support toileting, diapering, meals, rest time, and classroom transitions
• Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management
• Observe and document children's developmental progress
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Follow NYC childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

Educación
