The Learning Experience - Bushwick in Brooklyn, NY is seeking two Lead Early Childhood Teachers for our 2.5–3 year old classrooms. We are looking for caring, creative educators who guide children through key developmental milestones, build strong family relationships, and create engaging learning experiences.

This is a hands-on leadership role in early childhood education. We offer a full-time schedule, competitive hourly pay, professional development, and a supportive teaching environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or approved study plan toward completing a bachelor's in ECE, per NYC requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills.
• Patient, nurturing and enthusiastic about early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities and routines for children ages 2.5–3.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum with developmentally appropriate lessons.
• Encourage language development, independence and positive social interactions.
• Create engaging activities through art, music, movement, sensory play and hands-on learning.
• Support toilet training, meals, rest time and transitions.
• Establish consistent routines and use positive behavior guidance.
• Observe milestones and document classroom progress.
• Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers.
• Build relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
• Follow NYC Article 47 childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
