Job summary

College of Southern Nevada seeks an experienced supervisor for the ECE Lab Program to oversee a model laboratory children’s program, enhance CSN student experiences, and demonstrate best practices in early education for children and families in the community.

The role requires leadership of staff and students, supervision of workers and interns, and ongoing program evaluation, including pursuing NAEYC accreditation and QRIS Quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of direct Teaching Experience.

Responsibilities

• Children’s program implementation for assigned age group (planning, oversight, family involvement, communication and education, children’s assessment and service coordination with agency specialists).
• CSN student engagement; guidance, oversight, and feedback to CSN faculty regarding student progress and coursework.
• Direct supervision and mentoring of Child Care Workers, Student Workers, Interns, and volunteers.
• Ongoing and annual program evaluation and assessment.
• Achieving and maintaining NAEYC accreditation for assigned area.
• Achieving High Quality through QRIS Rating System.
