Job summary

College of Southern Nevada seeks a proactive Child Care Worker II for the Early Childhood Education Lab. You will assist in implementing curriculum, supervise a group of children, and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of preschool experience, or
• 1 year as Child Care Worker I in Nevada State Service, or
• equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety of the children and supervise groups.
• Assist with developmentally appropriate curriculum and classroom setup.
• Document children's development and learning progress.
• Engage in positive guidance and behavior support strategies.
• Communicate with families and collaborate with staff and supervisor.
• Attend staff meetings and adhere to program policies and procedures.
