Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor teachers, deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum, and create a safe, engaging classroom environment. You will collaborate with families and center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and overall center success.

The role emphasizes building relationships with families and the surrounding community while upholding high standards of care and education.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• State trainer approval preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in ECE preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• English reading/writing/speaking for parent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor teachers in your classroom; provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum tailored to each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support children’s care and education.
• Support center success with enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Foster positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
