Job summary

BrightPath Kids Madisonville Center in Ohio is seeking a Lead Teacher to partner with teachers and families, providing a home away from home for children aged 4 years and up, in alignment with NAEYC guidelines.

This full-time role offers $16-20 per hour, a childcare discount, and comprehensive benefits. Requirements include an associate degree or CDA or Level 3, plus 1 year of licensed child care experience and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or CDA or Level 3 credential or Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children aged 4 years and older in one classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards.
• Curate activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, clean, and safe environment for growth and exploration.
• Collaborate with families to plan best care and education for their children.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
