Qualifications

• Associate degree or CDA or Career Pathway Level 3 or Bachelor’s in any field required.
• 1 year of experience in licensed child care facility preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 4+ in one assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and fosters exploration.
• Partner with families to plan the best care and education for their children.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
