Job summary

The Learning Experience - Franklin, MA is hiring an experienced Early Childhood Lead Teacher to join our daycare and preschool teams. You will lead an engaging, developmentally appropriate classroom and implement the LEAP curriculum to support all areas of development.

This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers a competitive pay rate of $23–$25 per hour, plus health, dental and vision benefits, paid time off, a 401(k) program with matching, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Lead Teacher.
• Professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood experience required.
• Infant-Toddler and/or Preschool qualifications welcomed.
• Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible, dependable, and passionate about early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engaging and developmentally appropriate early childhood classroom.
• Create meaningful learning experiences through play, exploration, art, music, movement, and hands-on activities.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Establish positive classroom routines and provide consistent guidance.
• Observe children's development and maintain required documentation.
• Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers.
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom.
• Follow Massachusetts EEC requirements.
