Job summary

Big Blue Marble Academy is seeking an Early Child Care Lead Teacher in Jacksonville, FL to plan play-based activities and guide children through world-inspired learning experiences. You will build daily family rapport and uphold safety guidelines in a dynamic classroom environment.

Ideal candidates have CDA certification and childcare experience, with 6+ months in the field, and the ability to stand for long periods while assisting preschoolers.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• CDA required.
• Early Childhood coursework or degree preferred.
• At least six months experience in childcare, daycare or preschool preferred.
• Must be able to stand for 6–8 hours, lift up to 30 pounds, and visually supervise children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities using a play-based curriculum.
• Develop rapport with families daily using electronic daily reports.
• Follow enhanced safety guidelines to keep the classroom clean and safe.
