Job summary

Big Blue Marble Academy is seeking an Early Child Care Lead Teacher to guide play-based activities and world exploration for children. You will build daily relationships with families and document milestones using electronic reports.

The role requires 18+ years old, a HS diploma or GED, and childcare experience; CDA or degree is preferred. Expect a physical role with lifting up to 30 pounds and standing most of the day, in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a HS diploma or GED.
• Early Childhood coursework, CDA or degree preferred.
• At least six months experience in childcare, daycare or preschool preferred.
• Employees must be able to stand for six to eight hours, and lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Must visually supervise children at all times.

• Plan and implement activities using a play-based curriculum.
• Develop rapport with families daily and share milestones via electronic reports.
• Follow enhanced safety guidelines to keep the classroom clean and safe.
