Milwaukee Childcare Center of the A in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to create a nurturing, educational classroom. You will plan age-appropriate curriculum, mentor assistants, communicate with families, and ensure a safe learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds an associate or bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, 1–2 years of licensed childcare experience, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or early education setting.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans.
• Lead and supervise classroom activities in a safe, stimulating environment.
• Observe, assess, and document children's development and milestones.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about growth and classroom updates.
• Mentor and guide assistant teachers and classroom aides.
• Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming classroom.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies.
