Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Prior lead teacher or classroom leadership experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass background check as required by state licensing.
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum activities.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for all students.
• Monitor and assess student development, growth, and learning milestones.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides.
• Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and developmental documentation.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure program goals and educational standards are met.
