Job summary

Kids N' Care in Wisconsin seeks a dedicated Teacher to coordinate curriculum, lead teaching staff, and ensure a safe, engaging classroom. You will partner with families and guide assistants to support child development.

The role requires strong communication, understanding of child development, and CPR/First Aid certification, with emphasis on teamwork and ongoing professional growth. Health and safety are priorities in this setting.

Qualifications

Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work well with staff, children and parents.
Solid understanding of child development.
CPR and First Aid certification for infants/children.
Must pass background check and health screening.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform related physical tasks.
Completion of licensed group childcare education is required or in progress.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and implement curriculum with developmentally appropriate activities.
Lead and coach the teaching team to ensure quality classroom practice.
Plan age-appropriate activities to foster social, cognitive and emotional growth.
Communicate with parents through discussions, reports and conferences.
Ensure compliance with center policies and state regulations.
Maintain a healthy, hygienic, and safe classroom environment.
Supervise aides and volunteers and ensure safety and program quality.
Maintain accurate records and develop a professional development plan.
