Job summary

Kids N' Care in Wisconsin is seeking a Teacher to develop a cohesive teaching team, coordinate curriculum, and manage daily classroom operations. You will understand child development to create a safe, engaging environment where children are encouraged to succeed and parents are kept informed through conferences and reports.

The role requires effective communication with children, families, and staff, plus supervision of assistants and volunteers and adherence to center policies.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication with children, parents and staff.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Completed licensed group childcare education.
• Minimum of 2 years professional child care experience.
• Associate degree in ECE preferred with 30 credits in ECE.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement curriculum with developmentally appropriate practices and standards.
• Lead and coach teaching team to ensure classroom success.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to support social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
• Maintain open communication with parents through progress reports and conferences.
• Ensure center policies and state regulations are met.
• Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean classroom environment.
• Supervise teaching assistants and volunteers according to planned activities.
• Keep accurate records and files.
• Pursue ongoing professional development.
