Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Lead Educator in Arlington Heights, IL to inspire and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with our anti-bias philosophy. You will mentor teaching staff and collaborate with families to create engaging experiences for children.

As a curriculum expert, you’ll use quality tools to assess program delivery, lead a team, and model professionalism while ensuring compliance with state and company standards.

Qualifications

• Background checks are required by state and company policy.
• CDA with an educational plan to complete an associate degree is required.
• Associate degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• At least three years of teaching experience in quality child care/preschool settings is required.
• Experience in an NAEYC-accredited center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in implementing high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with our philosophy and anti-bias education.
• Be a curriculum expert and use educational quality tools to assess and enhance program implementation.
• Partner and communicate effectively with families, while mentoring new teachers and serving as a role model for the teaching team.
