Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher in York, PA to deliver high-quality early childhood education. You will mentor fellow teachers, implement our curriculum, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children to learn and play.

You will partner with families to support children's development and collaborate with center leadership to achieve enrollment and accreditation goals. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; effective communication with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum with attention to each child's unique needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership toward enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
