Job summary

KinderCare in Round Rock, TX seeks a dedicated Lead Teacher to guide and mentor less experienced teachers, implement KinderCare's curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.

You will partner with parents and center staff to support enrollment, engagement, and ongoing quality of care, while building positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer is preferred.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and engage with children outdoors or indoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to support the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success by partnering with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
