Job summary

KinderCare in Houston is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor less experienced teachers, model best practices, and provide constructive feedback. You will implement KinderCare's curriculum to meet the needs of each child and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy in progress.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum to suit each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education.
