Job summary

KinderCare in Littleton, CO is seeking a lead teacher to mentor peers, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, engaging setting for children. You will collaborate with families to support each child's development and work with center staff to drive enrollment and quality improvements.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, English communication, and adherence to licensing standards. A CDA or NAEYC candidacy, CPR/First Aid, and a Bachelor’s in ECE are preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
