Job summary

KinderCare in Longmont, CO is seeking a dedicated lead teacher to guide and mentor fellow educators in delivering high-quality early childhood education. You will implement KinderCare's curriculum, create a safe, nurturing classroom, and build strong partnerships with families to support each child's development.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success by partnering with staff and leadership to meet enrollment and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
