Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking an Electrical & Instrument Lead Technician to ensure safe, efficient daily operation of the facility, directing E&I maintenance staff. The role supports the process plant and power generation plant in alignment with production schedules.

Responsibilities include coordinating work with operations, mentoring crew, maintaining switchgear, DCS, CEMS, and instrumentation, and ensuring safety compliance. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years in power plant maintenance.
• Waste-to-energy experience preferred.
• Formal technical or apprentice training preferred.
• Experience with electrical systems from 13kV to 120V.
• Experience with medium/large turbine generators.
• DCS experience with Emerson Ovation.
• Experience with fire detection/suppression systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance work with operations and other personnel.
• Monitor daily activities to ensure timely, accurate completion.
• Mentor team members and assist with difficult tasks.
• Pre-stage parts and manage inventory for expedient work.
• Document daily logs and ensure proper turnover of shifts.
• Communicate schedules and overtime opportunities to crew.
• Record attendance and incidents for safety and compliance.
• Ensure all work areas are cleaned after tasks.
