Job summary

Hummingbird Care Home LLC in Eugene, OR is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional (Lead DSP) to mentor DSPs and oversee day-to-day program operations. The role ensures services follow ISPs, POSITIVE Behavior Support Plans, Nursing Care Plans, and Oregon rules.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with a salary of $52,000 per year. Requirements include 1 year DSP/ISP/The rap experience, valid driver’s license, and willingness to coordinate with clinical staff. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Direct Support Professional or Lead DSP experience is required.
• 1 year of experience implementing and monitoring ISPs.
• 1 year of Therap experience is required.
• Bilingual Spanish-English candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with program managers, team members, and County Case Managers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Assist with overseeing training and orientation of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Assist with problem solving, ISPs, scheduling, and shift coverage as needed.
• Coordinate with the agency RN and/or Behavior Specialist to meet client needs promptly.
• Attend meetings as scheduled and ensure actions from Protective Service Investigations are completed on time.
• Contribute to QA reviews and licensing improvement plans to meet state requirements.
• Provide administrative review of GERs and participate in on-call rotations.
