Job summary

Access Services is seeking a Community Participation Supports Lead Direct Support Professional to work with adults with intellectual disabilities and autism, helping them build meaningful lives in their communities.

The role combines community-based work with leadership duties, providing direct support, assisting with onboarding and staff coaching, and ensuring program compliance while implementing Plans of Care and Person-Centered Support Plans. Regular travel is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, special education, counseling, social work or gerontology preferred.
• Certification not required; CAN/RBT/BCABA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, training, and client coverage needs.
• Promote current trends and philosophies within Human Services.
• Ensure compliance with local, county, and state regulatory agencies.
• Coach DSPs on performance and provide staff support.
• Foster a positive team culture and collaboration with families and professionals.
• Communicate effectively with Supervisor and staff; maintain timely documentation.
• Travel regularly to support services across Schuylkill, Monroe, and Carbon counties.
