Job summary

Access Services is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional to join a team supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and autism in the community.

You will lead direct care in homes and community settings, assist with onboarding and coaching, ensure program compliance, and help implement Plans of Care. Travel across Schuylkill, Monroe, and Carbon counties is required, with mileage reimbursement available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of direct care experience with IDD population required.
• Background checks, physical exam, and driving history record required.
• Valid US driver’s license for ≥2 years; reliable vehicle and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor with onboarding, training, and client coverage.
• Promote current trends in Human Services and comply with regulations.
• Coach other DSPs and maintain quality, person-centered services.
• Implement Plan of Care and Person-Centered Support Plan.
• Travel across service areas and maintain positive relationships.
