Job summary

Danis Construction seeks a Drywall Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial projects in Texas. You will supervise self-perform drywall crews, coordinate with project leadership, monitor safety, quality, and schedule, and drive efficient progress across framing, hanging, finishing, ceilings, and insulation.

The role demands 5+ years of supervisory drywall/contracting experience, exposure to healthcare, higher education, data centers, or life sciences is a plus, and OSHA 30

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Superintendent or Foreman in commercial drywall or general contracting.
• Experience with self-perform drywall including framing, hanging, finishing, ceilings, insulation.
• Healthcare, Higher Ed, Data Centers or Life Sciences project experience desirable.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all field operations related to drywall and associated finishes.
• Supervise self-perform drywall crews and subcontractors, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality workmanship.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of self-perform scopes, including metal framing, hanging, taping, finishing, ceilings, and insulation.
• Work closely with the Workforce Coordinator to schedule and allocate manpower across self-perform tasks.
• Provide daily direction and leadership to foremen and drywall field crews.
• Monitor crew productivity, address bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
