Job summary
Country Meadows Retirement Communities in York, PA is seeking a Driver to provide safe, compassionate transportation for residents and accompany them on trips. You will be responsible for getting residents to appointments and helping them in and out of vehicles, with a focus on safety and resident wellbeing.
This PRN, first-shift position offers pay starting at $16.00 per hour, with experience-based opportunities to earn more, plus a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive, family-owned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
- Ability to communicate in English to perform duties.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and handle emergencies.
- Familiarity with local roads and area.
Responsibilities
- Drive residents to and from appointments safely and according to schedule.
- Assist residents entering and exiting vehicles when needed.
- Ensure resident paperwork is dropped off and returned to the nurse’s office.
- Support residents to be as independent as possible while offering necessary assistance.
- Inspect the vehicle daily for safety issues and address any concerns.
