Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company in Missouri seeks a Lead Driver to coordinate transportation for branches within the territory. You will work with the Area Dispatcher, ensure on-time deliveries, manage documentation, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements include a GED or high school diploma, 3+ years driving/wholesale electrical parts distribution, knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations, valid driver\'s license, ability to obtain DOT medical and forklift certifications, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in a driver and/or wholesale electrical parts distribution
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations
• Routing software preferred
• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid driver\'s license
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical and forklift certification
• Ability obtain and maintain forklift certification
• Ability to use warehouse equipment and inventory systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation activities for branches within the assigned territory
• Drive company trucks for deliveries and pickups
• Load and unload trucks
• Track performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Build daily delivery routes for branch vehicles
• Ensure DOT safety compliance
• Maintain records and schedules
