Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking a Lead Driver to coordinate transportation across branches in the assigned territory. You will balance daily work, communicate priorities, and serve as the local point of contact to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include driving company trucks, loading/unloading, training drivers, and monitoring performance with DOT safety compliance. A valid license and ability to obtain forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years experience in driver/wholesale electrical parts distribution.
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency with routing software is preferred.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily priorities and duties within the driver team.
• Drive company trucks for on-time deliveries and pickups.
• Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently.
• Train new transportation team members on policies and laws.
• Monitor performance and adherence to standards, identify improvements.
• Develop daily delivery routes using routing software.
• Maintain DOT safety compliance and truck records.
