Job summary

InnovAge Lead Driver – Participant Care in Loveland, CO, safely operate InnovAge vehicles to transport frail participants to Day Centers, appointments, and field trips. Deliver meals, supplies, and medications; perform pre/post trip inspections; and coordinate with the Dispatcher and Manager to ensure smooth routes.

Role requires a clean driving record, 21+ years old, six months with the organization, and prior DOT/Defensive Driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Six months prior experience with the organization in Driver position.
• Requires DOT and Defensive Driving experience.
• One year of experience working with the frail or elderly.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive InnovAge vehicles safely and follow policies.
• Load/unload participants and assist at homes.
• Transport participants to pre-arranged appointments.
• Deliver in-home meals, supplies and medications to participants.
• Maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness; coordinate maintenance.
• Assist in training drivers and support dispatcher communications.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning for participants.
