Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Driver/ Shuttle Coordinator in Tolleson, AZ. You will orient new drivers, assign tasks, and ensure smooth vehicle flow across multiple sites. duties include transporting employees and vehicles, maintaining logs, and supporting safety initiatives.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license, with opportunities for overtime as business needs dictate. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
• OR 5 years' experience in a related discipline or any higher degree/certification beyond HS.
• Safe driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers regarding their job duties and assist supervisor in assigning and directing the work of employees.
• Communicate with supervisor or manager to assure proper flow of vehicles and maintain log of stock numbers for each vehicle moved and its lot location.
• Communicate schedules and assignments to the crew members.
• Manage vans and transport drivers to locations and ensure timely pick-up and drop-off.
• Shuttle employees to and from parking lots on sale days and remote sites as needed.
• Pick-up and drop-off employees and other Auction personnel to/from the Auction, parking lots, dealerships, customer locations and other sites.
• Perform daily maintenance and routine checks of the van and service the vehicle with fuel and lubricants.
• Support safety activities and follow health procedures in cooperation with Market Safety Manager.
