Job summary

City of Memphis is seeking a Crew Supervisor for drain and street maintenance. Under general supervision, you will direct small crews, oversee repairs of storm drains, inlets, ditches, street surfaces, and sewer lines from obstructions.

You will operate and instruct others on sewer cleaning equipment as needed. Required are a High school diploma or equivalent, five years in construction/sewer/drain or street maintenance, including at least two years in a lead role, plus a valid Class B CDL with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of construction/sewer/drain or street maintenance experience.
• At least 2 years in a lead capacity.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required; DOT rules compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise small crews for drain and street maintenance.
• Oversee repairs of storm drains, inlets, and sewer lines from obstruction.
• Operate vehicles and sewer cleaning equipment; ensure safety and proper use.
• Maintain time sheets and discipline staff as needed.
• Communicate with residents and coordinate with supervisor.
