Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in water resources or stormwater design.
• Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation design software.
• Strong collaboration skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design stormwater and drainage systems, including grading, storm sewer layout, and drainage area analysis.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater modeling and conveyance design.
• Prepare drainage reports, permit applications, and construction documents in compliance with agency requirements (FDOT, counties, cities, water management districts).
• Review site conditions and permits to inform system design and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with architects, geotechnical engineers, landscape designers, and other subconsultants.
• Assist in developing scopes, budgets, and schedules for upcoming projects.
• Oversee junior staff and contribute to quality control of design deliverables.
