Job summary

Allied Resources Technical Consultants seeks an experienced Pipeline Drafting Supervisor to lead drafting activities and support development, review, and management of technical drawings and documentation within a utility and infrastructure environment.

You will oversee drafting intake and assignments, mentor a team of drafters, ensure accuracy and adherence to standards, coordinate with engineering, construction, field and operations teams, and maintain QA/QC practices across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of drafting, design, or engineering support experience.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience.
• Strong experience reviewing technical drawings and documentation.
• Experience in utility, pipeline, energy, infrastructure sectors.
• Advanced AutoCAD experience.
• Understanding of as-built drawings and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake, review, assignment, and completion of drafting requests.
• Lead and mentor a team of drafters.
• Review drawings for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, field, and operations teams.
• Prioritize workloads to meet project schedules.
• Support design updates, as-built docs, and system modifications.
• Maintain drawing records, version tracking, and archives.
• Help establish QA/QC practices for drawings and docs.
