Job summary

Allied Resources Technical Consultants seeks an experienced Pipeline Drafting Supervisor to lead drafting activities and support development, review, and management of technical drawings and documentation within a utility and infrastructure environment.

You will oversee drafting intake and assignments, mentor a team of drafters, ensure accuracy and adherence to standards, coordinate with engineering, construction, field and operations teams, and maintain QA/QC practices across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of drafting, design, or engineering support experience.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience.
• Strong experience reviewing technical drawings and documentation.
• Experience in utility, pipeline, energy, infrastructure sectors.
• Advanced AutoCAD experience.
• Understanding of as-built drawings and construction documentation.

We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Drafting Supervisor to lead drafting activities and support the development, review, and management of technical drawings and documentation within a utility and infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the intake, review, assignment, and completion of drafting requests
• Lead and support a team of drafters through technical guidance, training, and mentorship
• Review drawings and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, field, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and obtain needed information
• Prioritize workloads and monitor assignments to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule
• Support design updates, as-built documentation, construction projects, maintenance activities, and system modifications
• Maintain organized drawing records, document control, version tracking, and archival systems
• Help establish and maintain strong QA/QC practices for technical drawings and documentation

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in drafting, design, engineering support, or a related technical field
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience
• Strong experience reviewing technical drawings and documentation
• Experience with utility, pipeline, energy, infrastructure, or related industries
• Advanced AutoCAD experience
• Strong understanding of as-built drawings, construction documentation, and engineering records
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
