Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a Financial Management Subject Matter Expert to support STARCOM Delta 11. The role requires extensive DoD financial management experience, particularly in PPBE, budgeting, and execution, with a strong focus on both classified and unclassified financial systems.

The ideal candidate will provide senior advisory support, develop executive briefs, and oversee complex financial documentation, ensuring alignment with FIAR and DoD policies in a mission-critical

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance and 15+ years in DoD financial management.
• Experience with PPBE planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Proven ability in high-level financial reporting and briefings.
• Experience with DoD financial systems and tools (CCaRS, MIPRs, MORDs).
• Mentoring and leading financial teams in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level financial management advisory to Delta 11 leadership on PPBE activities.
• Track, analyze, reconcile, and report budget allocations and expenditures.
• Perform advanced quantitative analyses to identify trends and risks, with mitigation plans.
• Develop executive-level reports and materials for FWGs and FMBs.
• Oversee financial documentation (AF Form 9s, MIPRs, MORDs) and ensure reconciliation.
• Lead requirements tracking and forecasting within CCaRS and AF systems.
