Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• 5+ years of DoD financial management experience, including in classified environments.
• Experience in DoD budgeting, accounting, or resource management, preferably for USAF/USSF.
• Knowledge of DoD financial processes: budgeting, execution, funds control, reconciliation, reporting.
• Experience with DEAMS and CCaRS systems.
• Experience preparing AF Form 9s, MIPRs, and other financial docs.
• FIAR, audit readiness, and internal controls knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day financial management activities: budget tracking, execution monitoring, data entry, and reporting.
• Collect, organize, validate, and analyze budget execution data for recurring reports and reviews.
• Prepare, route, track, and reconcile funding documents (AF Form 9s, MIPRs, purchase requests).
• Perform transactions and reconciliations in DEAMS and other AF financial systems.
• Maintain spend plans and funding status in CCaRS, including obligation forecasts.
• Reconcile commitments, obligations, expenditures, and balances; coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain financial tracking tools and records for audit readiness and FIAR.
• Develop financial briefings and materials for budget reviews and leadership engagements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain data and support funding execution.
