Job summary

Forward Air Corp. is seeking a Forklift Operator to load, unload, and move freight in a busy multimodal terminal. You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and scanners, ensuring accuracy and safety.

This onsite role requires a valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain it, 3+ years of dock/warehouse experience, and strong English communication skills. Expect to work a Sunday-Wednesday night shift with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain before operation.
• 3+ years dock or warehouse experience.
• Ability to communicate in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to stand and lift up to 75 lbs with assistance or mechanical aids.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklifts and other MHE per procedures.
• Move and stage freight between dock doors and warehouse areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipping and delivery.
• Label, scan, and track freight for accuracy.
