Xcel Energy is seeking talented engineers at entry, staff, senior, and principal levels to drive complex projects across the grid modernization and electrification initiatives. This hybrid role positions the candidate to lead cross-disciplinary teams, deliver engineering designs, and mentor junior staff.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with EIT/FE preferred and PE possibly required by business needs.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required or equivalent.
• EIT/FE preferred for early levels; PE may be required depending on role.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects of moderate to large size, scope and complexity.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and staff.
• Develop technical documentation, designs, tests, and calculations.

Skills

ABET accreditation knowledge

EIT/FE preferred

PE registration may be required
