FCC Environmental Services is seeking an experienced Lead Dispatcher to support our Clay County operations in Florida. The role will oversee day-to-day dispatch activities, assign routes, monitor performance, and ensure DOT compliance while coordinating with drivers and management.

The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven ability to manage multiple routes in a fast-paced environment. Prior dispatch experience in waste management or logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily dispatch activities and ensure routes are staffed and completed efficiently.
• Assign routes and loads based on requirements, workload, and driver location.
• Prepare, update, and communicate daily route schedules.
• Monitor routes and respond to delays, breakdowns, or service issues.
• Track driver hours to minimize overtime and balance workloads.
• Ensure DOT compliance and maintain driver documentation.
• Maintain dispatch records, reports, and documentation.
• Provide guidance to dispatchers and resolve escalated issues.
