Transdev in Lansing, Michigan is hiring a Lead Dispatcher. Our Lead Dispatcher ensures the Dispatch team fills all routes and provides Operators with timely instructions and responses to keep service running safely.

This customer‑service oriented role requires excellent communication, flexibility to work varied shifts, and adherence to DOT drug testing policies. Benefits include a vacation schedule, 401(k) and health coverage, with a starting hourly rate of $20–$23.50.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2–3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee road service and trip performance measures, i.e. route start time, on-time performance, incidents.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns about no shows, cancellations, and missed trips.
• Manage vehicle operator emergency situations & escalated calls.
• Supervise staff on weekends and evenings.
• Manage department reports and other communication tools.
• Support the Dispatch Supervisor in training new employees.
• Other duties as required.

Lead Dispatcher

Transdev in Lansing, Michigan is hiring a Lead Dispatcher. Our Lead Dispatcher ensures the Dispatch team fills all the routes and provides Operators with timely instructions and responses. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Transdev is proud to offer:

• Starting hourly rate of $20 - $23.50

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
• Sick days: 5 days
• Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating
• Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.

Key Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements :

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
