Georgia State University’s PantherDining Hall is hiring a Dishwasher II to maintain sanitation and assist in training student staff. This role contributes to sustainability programs and oversees temporary workers during shifts.

Open until filled with a focus on weekends and flexible schedule; location on Atlanta Campus. Anticipated hiring range is $31,200–$35,400. High school diploma or GED required with 2 years related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years of related experience.
• Previous dishwashing experience.

Responsibilities

• Properly cleans the cooking utensils and equipment.
• Restocks all washed items in appropriate area.
• Maintains the cleanliness of dish machines as well as dish areas.
• Washes, sorts, replaces, and restocks flatware, serving dishes, china, glasses, and all other washable items.
• Assists daily in trash removal, cleaning, and maintenance of the back of house operation.
• Assists in the organization, pick up, and cleaning of laundry area.
• Ensures the dish machine is properly cleaned and maintained throughout the shift.
• Oversees assigned student and temporary personnel.
