Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time or equivalent part-time food service experience.
• Must be certified as a food handler within six months via ServSafe or equivalent.
• Knowledge of utensils, equipment and food service area cleaning.
• Knowledge of safety practices for dish washing equipment.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and participates in cleaning tableware, utensils and equipment.
• Ensures removal of remnant foods and proper washing steps.
• Supervises washing and scrubbing of pots, pans, and trays.
• Oversees trash removal and sanitation of containers.
• Maintains adequate supply of utensils and beverage dispensers.
• Supervises cleaning of refuse storage and refrigeration areas.
