CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director, Product Innovation to own the innovation lifecycle for payor-focused concepts from ideation to launch. This individual contributor role partners with Enterprise and Aetna strategies, product development, partnerships, and shared services to translate ideas into launch-ready solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in product strategy or healthcare innovation, a strong ability to move concepts through a matrixed organization, and executive communication

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product strategy, product innovation, or related leadership roles.
• Strong experience with payor-focused products or healthcare solutions.
• Proven ability to lead concepts from ideation through launch.
• Experience working across strategy, product development, partnerships, data/technology, and shared service teams in a matrixed environment.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence without direct ownership and drive alignment across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new product concepts from ideation through launch for payor-focused solutions and capabilities.
• Identify unmet needs, strategic opportunities, and concepts aligned to priorities.
• Shape and refine concepts into well-defined opportunities with launch pathways.
• Partner with strategy teams to align priorities with market opportunities.
• Support concept evaluation, development planning, and launch readiness.
• Define requirements, priorities, dependencies, and decision points to advance innovation.
• Assist creation of business cases and launch recommendations tied to new product ideas.
• Ensure clear transition and handoff of launched innovations to long-term owners after market introduction.
