Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director, Product Innovation to own the full innovation lifecycle for payor-focused product concepts, from ideation through launch. You will identify unmet market needs, shape concepts, and drive them to market in collaboration with Enterprise and Aetna strategy teams.

This role can be remote or hybrid anywhere in the US, depending on location and hub access. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in product strategy and a proven track record bringing new ideas to launch,

Qualifications

10+ years in product strategy, innovation, or related leadership.
Strong experience with payor-focused healthcare products.
Proven ability to lead concepts from ideation to launch.
Experience across strategy, product development, partnerships, data/technology in a matrixed environment.
Executive communication and presentation skills.
Ability to influence without direct ownership.
Strong prioritization and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead development of new product concepts from ideation through launch for payor-focused solutions.
Identify unmet needs and strategic opportunities aligned to priorities.
Shape and refine concepts into well-defined opportunities with launch pathways.
Partner with strategy teams to align priorities to market opportunity.
Support concept evaluation, development planning, readiness, and launch execution.
Collaborate with partnerships, DDAT, and shared service teams.
Drive cross-functional coordination to move concepts to launch-ready solutions.
Define requirements, priorities, dependencies, and decision points.
Assist in creating business cases, concept materials, leadership presentations.
Ensure proper handoff of launched innovations to long-term owner.
