Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director, Product Innovation to own the full innovation lifecycle for payor-focused concepts, from ideation through launch. You will identify unmet market needs, refine concepts, and lead evaluation, shaping launch-ready solutions with cross-functional partners.

This role may be remote or hybrid across the US, depending on location and commute; you’ll work with Enterprise and Aetna strategy, product development, partnerships, and shared services to translate ideas

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in product strategy or related leadership roles.
Experience with payor-focused products or healthcare solutions.
Proven ability to lead concepts from ideation through launch.
Experience working across strategy, product development, partnerships, data/technology in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

Lead development of new payor-focused product concepts from ideation through launch.
Identify unmet needs and strategic opportunities aligned to priorities.
Shape and refine concepts into well-defined opportunities with value and launch pathways.
Collaborate with strategy teams to align innovation priorities to business strategy.
Support concept evaluation, development planning, readiness, and launch execution.
Coordinate with partnerships, DDAT, and shared services for launch-ready solutions.
Define requirements, priorities, dependencies, and decision points for innovation.
Assist in creating business cases and launch recommendations.
Ensure smooth handoff of launched innovations to long-term owners.
