Job summary

Purpose- SC is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional to lead the home operations and supervise staff at our Myrtle Beach, SC location. The role focuses on providing high-quality support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a structured program.

The position requires 1 year of supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership, a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred), and the ability to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Ability to align organizational vision with supportive services and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to Direct Support Professionals during shifts.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and respect residents' rights.
• Complete daily cleaning, restocking, and required documentation.
• Follow the Structured Therapeutic Program Schedule and coordinate with other departments.
• Communicate with guardians, families, and staff about shift activities and resident status.
