Lead Direct Support Professional position at Northeast Residence Inc. provides daily support to residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Hammer & NER homes and apartments and assists the Program Manager with administrative tasks.

Role focuses on person-centered, relational, and stewardship values, enabling safe living environments and life-skill development. Requires 18+ and English fluency; offers benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in using computers and/or smart technology.
• Must be fluent reading and speaking English.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: schedule medical appointments, promote community activities, train DSPs on documentation, procedures, and medication processes.
• Daily Living Supports: assist residents with daily living skills, meals, money management, and medications.
• Communication: respond to emails, check SharePoint daily, collaborate with Program Manager to resolve issues, follow escalation procedures as needed.
• Training and Compliance: ensure trainings are completed on time, maintain confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines, comply with mandated reporting obligations, attend meetings, support residents to sustain quality of life.
