Job summary

Hope Network is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional for the 2nd shift in the Grand Rapids/Kentwood area. In this on-site role, you will support individuals with daily living activities, transportation, and community involvement to help them build independence and thrive in their community.

You will work as part of a compassionate, team-oriented group, applying strong communication and patient care skills to create a safe, structured environment and meaningful daily supports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass background checks and fingerprints.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and medications.
• Support community outings, transportation, and activities.
• Build positive relationships and encourage independence.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
