Job summary

Mains’l Services is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP). You’ll support individuals in their home and community, helping them live full, meaningful lives with person-centered care.

As a DSP lead you’ll mentor teammates, coordinate daily supports, and ensure safety and dignity in every routine. Training is provided, with benefits and a mission-driven team awaiting compassionate applicants who meet the DL requirement.

Qualifications

• 1 Year of experience as a DSP or similar
• Compassion, reliability, and a willingness to learn
• 18 years or older
• A valid US driver's license, reliable transportation with insurance
• Ability to pass a background check through DHS

Responsibilities

• Provide Person Centered Supports tailored to the individual needs (including Activities of Daily Living, behavioral supports, coaching and skill-building)
• Assist with transportation to various activities and medical appointments
• Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming living environments (including laundry, housekeeping, and meal preparation)
• Teach valuable skills—from financial management to communication
• Be a source of companionship, guidance, and advocacy
• Accurately document care and daily activities
• Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping
• Support budgeting house cash
• Coordinate medical appointments, medication ordering/pick up
• Assist with monthly paperwork

Pay & Schedule

• $21.00 per hour
• Mon/Tues 8:30am-3:30pm Wed 2pm-10pm Thurs 8:30am-3:30pm EOW 8am-3pm
